What do we do?

Fram Business Solutions provide software and hardware products and consultative services to all kinds of business, but our particular strengths are within the hospitality industry.

Our resources boast years of experience in the hospitality industry, specifically point of sale, inventory control and purchasing and more than ten years IT experience specialising in sourcing, system design, configuration and project management.

We provide services across various activities including systems functionality requirement documentation, business process reviews, systems evaluation and system upgrades. Our reputation speaks for itself, we provide our services on time and within budget - every time.

Our business is located in Melbourne, Australia and provides services throughout Australasia, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.


What have we done?

Our experience includes various “five star” hotel properties, including Hilton, Hyatt, Sheraton and the world class Crown Towers. Additionally we have been responsible for the project management of POS systems implementations from the “ground-up”, including the Crown Entertainment Complex which in 1999 was the largest single POS installation in the world (240 workstations).

Since 1995 we have been strategically involved with the on-going systems development of Check systems. The developments have included Lesson Planning module, barcode assisted inventory management, Non-Inventory Purchasing module and the FF&E module.

We project managed and assisted with the roll-out of the CheckEAM application to 18 Millennium Hotels and Resorts properties throughout New Zealand and Australia, a project completed on schedule in three months. Additionally, we managed the implementation of the software to a further five MHR properties in Singapore, incorporating the GAMe Central Purchasing software. We also facilitated a series of e-procurement workshops with MHR in London.

We have installed the CheckEAM application at the Ayers Rock Resort - Uluru, Flemington Racecourse (home of the Melbourne Cup) TT Line Company, Delaware North Australia – Melbourne Park, again on schedule for the Australian Open in 2000, the Mt Eliza Business School, the Melbourne Aquarium and Telstra Dome (Rugby World Cup 2003).

Most recently, we worked with William Angliss Institute in Melbourne to implement the CheckEAM application. This project included significant development of the software to provide system functionality where material requirements are determined according to the course content and student numbers of scheduled classes. This module has reduced order processing time by 75% and provides a level of cost reporting not previously available to the Institute.
