Spirit of Tasmania Three

Fram installs CheckEAM on Spirit of Tasmania Three

After Fram's successful installation of CheckEAM and GAMe on Spirit of Tasmania One and Two in 2002 we have been asked to install CheckEAM on Spirit of Tasmania Three.

Spirit of Tasmania One and Two travel twice-daily across Bass Strait between Victoria and Tasmania. Spirit Of Tasmania Three will travel from Sydney along the east coast of Australia to Tasmania. Each trip will take about 20 hours and will operate 6 times a week.

The implementation of Check systems onto three ships has been complex. Each ship creates purchase orders that are received at any port and all invoices are processed at TT-Line's offices in Devonport, Tasmania. The challenge was to provide the operational flexibility while keeping the data on shore and the ships in 'sync'.

CheckEAM has been installed to provide the functionality for the entry of day to day transactions and end of month performance reports. CheckGAMe assists with the management of the master catalogues, quotes and provides the data warehouse for analysis of all purchases. The CheckEAM systems and GAMe are syncronised using the Check ePost module.
